Crazy Time at Vegas Now is Evolution’s live game show: a presenter, a 54-segment money wheel, four bonus games and a Top Slot that attaches a multiplier of up to 50× to one bet spot each round. It is listed in the live-casino section of our lobby, and it is the game Australian players ask about most when they want something quicker and more social than a pokie. This page explains how a round runs, which published figures are worth knowing, how a Crazy Time stake counts toward a bonus requirement and loyalty points, and why a game show is an eligible but slow way to clear a bonus.

How a round of Crazy Time works

Every round follows the same order. Betting opens, and you place chips on one or more bet spots. There is a spot for each number on the wheel and one spot for each of the four bonus games: Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko and Crazy Time. You can cover a single spot or several at once, and each spot is a separate bet with its own stake.

Top Slot then applies a multiplier of up to 50× to one bet spot for that round. The presenter spins the wheel, and the segment it stops on decides everything. If it stops on a number, bets on that number are settled and every other bet loses. If it stops on a bonus game, players who have a bet on that bonus spot take part in the bonus round, and the result of that round is applied to their stake. Bets on any other spot lose.

Only one segment can win per round. That single fact governs most of the arithmetic on this page: covering more spots raises the cost of each round without changing the number of spots that can pay.

Evolution states the return to player as a range rather than a single number. A range tells you that the long-run average is not identical across every way of betting on the wheel; it does not tell you which end a session will resemble, and neither end is a promise. Return to player is an average over a very large number of rounds, and a short session can finish anywhere.

Bet types and payouts, with the published figures

There are two kinds of bet spot. A number spot wins when the wheel stops on that number, and the win is settled at that spot’s odds; a Top Slot multiplier attached to the spot applies to the result. A bonus spot wins when the wheel stops on that bonus game. The amount is then decided inside the bonus round, and the Crazy Time bonus is the one with the largest published ceiling, 20,000× the stake.

Top Slot is the part most often misread. It is a multiplier, not a payout. Each round it is attached to one spot, and it only matters if the wheel then stops on that spot. A multiplier on a spot that does not win changes nothing, because a losing bet pays nothing whatever is attached to it.

Three worked examples use only the published figures.

  • The ceiling. A $1 bet on the Crazy Time spot, the wheel stops on Crazy Time, and the bonus round ends at its published maximum of 20,000×. The return is $20,000. That is the top of what Evolution publishes, not a typical result, and nothing on the wheel makes it more likely on any particular spin.
  • Covering every bonus. A $1 bet on each of the four bonus spots costs $4 per round. If the wheel stops on a number, all four lose and the round costs $4. If it stops on a bonus game, one $1 bet takes part in that bonus round and the other three lose. At most one of the four can pay in any round.
  • The multiplier that paid nothing. Top Slot lands its largest multiplier, 50×, on a spot you have covered with $2. The wheel stops elsewhere. The $2 is lost and the 50× goes with it. The multiplier never had a value of its own.

How Crazy Time counts toward bonus wagering at Vegas Now

Our general bonus terms, dated 26 February 2024, set a contribution rate for each game type: slots 100% with listed exceptions, roulette 25%, blackjack and game shows 10%, baccarat 0%. Crazy Time is a game show, so every $1 staked on it counts as $0.10 toward a wagering requirement. The welcome package can be used in the casino and live casino, so Crazy Time is an eligible game; it is simply a slow one.

Take the worked example from the Vegas Now welcome bonus page: a $100 first deposit receives a 150% match, so $150 of bonus, and the 40× requirement comes to $6,000 of qualifying wagering within seven days. On Crazy Time the stakes needed to produce $6,000 of contribution are ten times that figure.

Where the $6,000 is wagered Contribution Stakes needed Rounds at AUD 8, the maximum bet with a bonus Rounds per day over 7 days
Pokies, where the title is not on the exceptions list 100% $6,000 750 About 107
Roulette, including Lightning Roulette 25% $24,000 3,000 About 429
Crazy Time and other game shows 10% $60,000 7,500 About 1,071
Live blackjack 10% $60,000 7,500 About 1,071
Baccarat 0% Does not count — —

The table is arithmetic, not a forecast. It assumes every round is staked at the AUD 8 maximum; smaller stakes mean more rounds. Four further published conditions sit alongside it. Only one bonus can be active at a time, so the second-deposit offer waits until the first is cleared or has expired. Winnings from a deposit bonus are capped at $5,000 or equivalent per offer. The bonus lasts seven days. And under our account terms the deposit must be wagered three times before related funds can be withdrawn, whether or not a bonus was taken.

Why live games are a slow way to clear a bonus

The reason is the contribution rate, and nothing else. At 10%, ten dollars must be staked for every dollar of progress toward the requirement, so a $6,000 requirement becomes $60,000 of Crazy Time stakes. A pokie at 100% reaches the same requirement with $6,000 of stakes. The bonus is identical; the distance is ten times longer.

Pace makes the distance matter. A live game show runs at the presenter’s speed, with a betting window and a spin for every round, and the clock on the bonus runs for seven days whether or not you are at the table. The AUD 8 maximum bet caps how much contribution any single round can produce: at that stake a round on Crazy Time adds $0.80 to the requirement. Reaching $6,000 at $0.80 a round is 7,500 rounds, and that is the best case the terms allow. Return to player does not shorten the road; a long-run average says nothing about whether a $250 balance of deposit and bonus survives 7,500 rounds, and a losing stretch is not evidence that a result is owed.

Two choices follow from the figures. If you intend to play mostly Crazy Time, our general terms allow a bonus to be declined, which removes the AUD 8 cap, the seven-day clock and the wagering requirement; the three-times deposit wagering rule from the account terms still applies before a withdrawal. If you want the bonus, clearing most of the requirement on pokies and keeping Crazy Time for play without a target is the arrangement the rates favour.

Loyalty points from Crazy Time

Our loyalty programme has seven levels themed on Las Vegas venues. Points are earned through real-money play and move you up the levels, and redeemable points can be exchanged in the Loyalty Store. The published earning rates are 1 redeemable point and 1 status point per $25 wagered on slots, 1 point per $100 on roulette, and 1 point per $250 on blackjack and baccarat. The published table does not list a separate rate for game shows, so the rate that applies to Crazy Time is the one shown in your Vegas Now account.

The exchange rates are published. At the starting level, Golden Glimmer, 200 points buy a $5 bonus, and the loyalty page gives the example of saving 2,000 points for $60 instead of taking several lots of $5. Higher levels exchange at better rates: the table shows 750 points for AUD 20 at Parisian Palace Las Vegas and 100,000 points for AUD 5,000 at Bella Vista. Every bonus taken from the store carries 40× wagering.

A worked example shows how the pieces connect. A $5 bonus from 200 points carries $200 of wagering. Cleared on Crazy Time at 10%, that is $2,000 of stakes; cleared on a pokie at 100%, it is $200. For comparison, the roulette rate of 1 point per $100 means the $24,000 of roulette stakes that would clear the welcome example earns 240 points, enough for one 200-point exchange with 40 left over. The loyalty and VIP page lists the published level thresholds and describes the VIP Lounge.

Playing Crazy Time on mobile

Crazy Time runs in the phone browser. There is no native App Store or Google Play app and no APK, and anything described as one is not ours. The stream, the betting grid and the Top Slot display all work in Safari and Chrome, and you can save the site to the Home Screen so that it opens like an app: in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen and Open as Web App; in Chrome, open More, then Install or create a shortcut. The Vegas Now mobile page walks through both.

A live video table asks more of a connection than a pokie does, so a stable Wi-Fi or mobile signal keeps the betting window and the spin in step. Set a deposit limit in the account before the first round.

Common Crazy Time mistakes

  • Reading 20,000× as a result to expect. It is the published ceiling of the Crazy Time bonus. The return-to-player range and the ceiling describe different things, and neither forecasts a round.
  • Counting the Top Slot multiplier as a win. It is attached to one spot before the wheel decides. If that spot does not win, the multiplier pays nothing.
  • Assuming full contribution. Game shows count 10% toward wagering. A $60,000 road is not a $6,000 one.
  • Betting above AUD 8 with a bonus active. The cap applies to every bet for as long as a bonus remains on the account.
  • Starting a bonus you do not intend to clear. Only one is active at a time, and it runs for seven days. The terms allow a bonus to be declined.
  • Withdrawing straight after depositing. The account terms require the deposit to be wagered three times first; the published consequence is refusal or a processing fee.

Responsible play

Vegas Now is operated by Just Entertainment B.V. under Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/164/0246, and play is for people aged 18 and over. A game show is designed to be absorbing: a presenter, a betting window and a new round as soon as the last one settles. Decide the budget for the session before the first spin, set a deposit limit in your account, and use the self-exclusion tools if play stops feeling like entertainment. Our responsible gambling page explains the limits available.

Gambling Help Online supports Australians on 1800 858 858 and at gamblinghelponline.org.au. If a losing run tempts a bigger stake, that is the moment to stop, not to cover more spots.

Crazy Time at Vegas Now: questions and answers

What is the RTP of Crazy Time?

Evolution publishes a range of 94.41% to 96.08% rather than a single figure. It is a long-run average across a very large number of rounds, not a return promised from a session.

How much does Crazy Time count toward bonus wagering?

Game shows contribute 10% under our general bonus terms dated 26 February 2024. A $6,000 requirement therefore needs $60,000 of Crazy Time stakes, compared with $6,000 on a pokie that contributes 100%.

Can I use the welcome bonus on Crazy Time?

Yes. The welcome package applies to the casino and live casino, so Crazy Time is eligible. The AUD 8 maximum bet, the seven-day validity and the 10% contribution all apply while the bonus is active.

What is the most Crazy Time can pay?

Evolution states that the Crazy Time bonus can pay up to 20,000×. Top Slot adds a multiplier of up to 50× to one bet spot each round. Both are ceilings, not expectations.

Do I earn loyalty points on Crazy Time?

Points are earned through real-money play across the programme, and the Loyalty Store exchange starts at 200 points for a $5 bonus with 40× wagering. The earning rates published on the loyalty page are for slots, roulette, blackjack and baccarat.

Is there a Crazy Time app for Australian players?

No native app or APK is verified. Crazy Time runs in the phone browser, and the site can be added to the Home Screen from Safari or Chrome so that it opens like an app.
